Back to the earth tones for this larger piece after painting cool ones for a while.

This one sort of has a desert canyon feel to me.

I'm getting into blue mode with the latest paintings. This one is toned down, but the 12x12 I'm about finished with is really blues! Pics tomorrow...after I think of a title.

The Finished 18''x24'' Canvas - "Paradigm" Textured Acrylic

"Paradigm"

18''x24'' Textural Acrylic Palette Knife Painting on Gallery Canvas

SOLD

The finished painting from the progress pic in the last post. I'm working towards an atmospheric quality in my latest paintings by creating more negative space against the stuctured layers. I like the way this one is busy, but serene at the same time.

The texture is heavier than some of my others and looks much better up close.

I also ended up flipping it 180 degrees in the end although, it looks really good any way you hang it. This one will have a new home in California.

I went from small canvas panels to LARGE over the weekend. It's amazing what you can do when the weather is too bad to leave the house for a few days!

Small Painting - "Medallions" 8''X8"

"Medallions"

8''x8" Acylic on canvas panel

Painted with palette knife, Textural elements

*SOLD*

This one is another "almost daily painting". It did not photograph real well and the bronze metallic squares and highlights look much better in person. Metallics are hard to capture with the camera.

I applied the square elements with medium so they are raised some.

I'm thinking of a view of the last tall building as I'm heading out with the sunset in the distance and the tune "Leaving Town" on the radio. Maybe I really need a vacation.

Textured and glazed Acrylic on gallery wrap canvas. Clear gloss varnish applied for durability. Ready to hang.
