Art Prints Now Available!

Hello Art Friends!
A lot has been going on here in the studio with new galleries on board and exciting new works. Summer is gone and the cold is on the way in, so I plan to be inside getting a lot more painting done.

My newest gallery representation is HUE Gallery in Wichita, KS. A great new contemporary art space downtown.

In the meantime, after much popular demand, I have decided to offer a select few mini-abstracts as art prints on paper, canvas wraps, iPhone cases and more at Nuvango. It's a great quality company with great products and service and I will be adding a few more works as I go along.

Hopefully, this will fill a void where collectors want a piece of my art on a tight budget
and small space requirements. My small to very large originals will always be available
in my great galleries around the US as well.

Check the new prints out at Nuvango.com/MarkYearwood

New Work and New Social Media

"Tranquil Season"
36x36'' mixed media canvas ©2014

It's been a long time since I've posted on my blog as I have been so tied up with life events and other media, along with trying to explore in my work. I'm doing more layering and loose, emotional application of pigment and really enjoying the changes. I hope you do as well.

I've joined The Howell Gallery in Oklahoma City and HUE Gallery in Wichita, KS.

As always, you can see all the latest on my website.
See you soon!

PS: I'm also trying out the new tsu Social Media platform and it's really growing. Check it out by following my invite link. www.tsu.co/markyearwood

Santa Fe Solo Number 2!

Fall is finally arriving and it's also time for my second solo exhibition in the great art city of Santa Fe, NM. I have been painting hard and will be right up until I pack to head West, actually! You know, artist crunch time.

InArt Gallery is gracious enough to give me a show once again and I hope to please with some exciting and some large new paintings using more mixed media and gestural layers.

You are invited to come out for my opening reception Friday, October 18 from 5-7 and I will also be painting at the gallery Saturday the 19th during the annual Canyon Road paint Out. Over 100 artists will be participating in the event.

Fall is the perfect time to visit Santa Fe, so I hope to see you there!

Here is a Facebook event page.

I'm really happy with my latest body of work using mixed media, including some new paint sticks. I have loosened up a lot in the work and I feel it's more textural and organic. I hope you like them as well. These would make a great set or can be purchased individually. $600 each.
