I'm really having a blast painting these 12'' squares. It's fun to come up with different ways to make a square interesting. Many of these can be hung different ways if you choose, but I display and wire them the way they are painted. This one's Italian name means "beach". I guess with our wet, cold weather lately, I am dreaming of sitting in the sand somewhere.

This is the 12x12 completed over the weekend in the style of the one
one posted earlier called "Scoperta". It was a cold, rainy weekend as
an early fall front came through. It felt like a blue wind cooling

off the last days of summer and so I painted an abstract thought of a cold front.
